Murdannia versicolor (Dalz.)Brueck. Annual one with simple fibrous roots restricted southwardly. This one is very similar to Murdannia lanuginosa . But the fibrous roots and uniseriate seeds is key factor to identify this plant. Commonly found along with Murdannia crocea var. ochracea . Flowers opens after 9 am and closes on 11 to 12pm.
